About me:
What can I say, I enjoy needlepoint,
basketweaving and bobbing for apples. YEAH,
RIGHT!!! I don't enjoy these cheesy intros. I
have a flair for the dramatic. Having a
Caribbean heritage, I was born to party hearty.
I would say that I used to be athletic but with
working on rigs, jetsetting to the remotest
parts of the world, the pounds seem to follow me
wherever I go. Everything I've read to cut down
size like the hazards of drinking, sex and
indulgence in exotic dishes has urged me to make
a conscious decision to give up reading.
I would say that I'm an outgoing person. I like
to be spontaneous and would do anything at least
once (well almost!) On my quiet, contemplsative
days, while sipping a margarita on a hammock by
the beach, I reflect on the sayings of
Confucius, Jung and the like and figure out the
vagaries of life.
I would also say that I am strongwilled and
determined. Some people would say pig-headed but
it depends on your point of view. For example,
because I live in the Caribbean and am
surrounded by water, people say that you must
know how to swim. I have disproved that
stereotyped way of thinking quite vehemently for
years. Now that I have gotten people to believe
it, I can now begin to learn swimming because I
want to do it now. I hear it's good exercise
too. So if there is anything you need disproved,
just give me a shout and I will do it with
gusto. (I can prove that 1+1 does not equal 2)
So that's a little about me in a nutshell. There
is not enough paper to expound on my
accomplishments. I can baffle you with BS when I
get to know you better, but for now I can be
regarded as an upstanding, law-abiding citizen
of the world.
