About me: I am a female living in California with my soon to be husband and three adopted alley cats. I finished high school, dropped out of fashion design school, and have certification in Windows Microsoft Office Applications and Graphic Design. Yet I work as a cashier in an adult novelty shop because I am a serious underachiever. Yes, an ADULT shop, the kind you have to be at least 18 to enter and sells adult books and toys and such. It doesn't make me a bad or less kind person and I don't have to talk about my job if that makes you uncomfortable, although I do have a lot of hilarious stories. I love Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean because I loved the ride when I was little. I love laughing with friends about crazy stories and would eventually like to travel the world, although at this point in my life it seems like I'll never be able to get out of this crummy little town. I would like to communicate via snail mail (I'm not really good on keeping up to date with email and instant messages) and I would prefer to talk to someone in Japan because I am one of those 20-something American geeks that likes to read manga and watch anime. Although if you are a cool person who is not from Japan and would like to talk to me I would love to hear from you too.

Favorite Book(s): Pride and Prejudice, Anne of Green Gables, Jane Eyre, The Silver Metal Lover, Biting the Sun. I mostly just read junk now a days though.
Favorite Movie(s): Priates of the Carribean, Roman Holiday, Sabrina, This Property is Condemned, Baby Doll. I like pretty much anything that is romantic or black and white or has pirates in it. I also watch a lot of period pieces.
I think a true friend is someone who: is kind and understanding.
About the penpal I'd like: First off I really don't speak too much of any other languages so English is a must. I want someone funny, kind and understanding who is tolerant and has an open mind. I want someone who wants to share interests like books an movies and music and who is willing to try new things and get me to try new things. Having cats or animals that you would like to talk about is a plus. Or if you are the type of person who is like me and is unsure of yourself and where your life is going, then that would be nice if we could talk too. Cant wait to hear from you!
