Penpal Party Incarcerated Members Policy
Penpal Party tries not to discriminate against people who are incarcerated. HOWEVER, if you are posting on behalf of someone incarcerated, you must still follow the rules.
Most especially:
1. This is NOT a dating site. Anyone appearing to be trying to use this site for finding romance of any kind will be deleted.
2. You may NOT post snail-mail (postal) addresses in public profiles.
3. Be honest about the incarceration: Please put "Incarcerated" in the "Occupation" slot.
4. Make clear that you are posting on behalf of someone else who is incarcerated, and that you will send their postal address after they first contact you via email.
Please feel free to post a profile on behalf of friends or family members who are incarcerated. If they follow the rules above (and the other rules listed in "Party Rules" to the left), they will be posted like any other profile.
Sorry, but at this time, we cannot make exceptions to the "no postal addresses" rule, even when the person posting does not have access to email. This is an email-based site, and as such, requires the first contact be through email. In the future, we may make a section just for the incarcerated where snail mail addresses can be posted, but this will be some time in coming, if ever.
Thank you for your understanding.
