About me: I am an artist interested in perception, surrealism (automatism) and child-like expressionism. I enjoy word-play and poetry too. I work in an Art Gallery which gives me time to relax and enjoy reading and listening to music. I also knit like a trooper! I live in North West England in The Lake District. As you may well guess, it's a beautiful area full of lakes. I love nature and walking and I also practice Pilates. I have studied Indian Head Massage and Reiki healing and I think it's amazing. I find it hard to describe and catagorize myself. I'd say I'm a sensitive soul who loves the little things in life and a giggle. Yeah. I also love growing plants.It's magic!

Favorite Movie(s): Hmmm...so many!...'Life is Beautiful', 'The Secret Garden', 'Shine', 'Amelie', 'A Very Long Engagement', 'Delicatessen', ....and some others that have been lost in my memory.
I think a true friend is someone who: is someone you can be your true self with.
About the penpal I'd like: I am currently studying Spanish and so far I know a little (un poco!) I hope to become fluent and travel around Spain or apply for an artist residency in Spain. I'd really like a penpal in Spain who I can write Spanish to. If they are wishing to learn English, I am happy to help! It'd be great to write to someone who is interested in similar things and have a unique slant on looking at life.
