About me: The more I learn the less I understand - about myself - about the world - about our past and about our purpose for the future. I am a brutally honest person. I come from a small town in Prescott, Arizona in the USA. It is a sheltered town (as most of our rural country is sheltered) and the outside world is really left outside. I want to expand my knowledge. I am a college graduate and I am continuing more college. I moved to Phoenix Arizona, the biggest city in Arizona which is largely Republican in 2006. My conservative roots drastically changed once I got out of the bubble. I am 100% liberal in the way I see the world now, or at least I try to be. I want to learn, discover, experience and do everything I can to not let life pass me by. American's too often ignore the opportunities that have been bestowed upon us. My current life, I work as a paralegal, I go to school, I rent an apartment, I have four cats and a challenging relationship with my boyfriend of four years - I basically have a little mundane routine that keeps me afloat. I hope to expand my horizons with more education and more wisdom to someday change the world. I believe we are all responsible to do that in some small way or another. I want to fight to protect animals and children, people who have no freedom and cure the world of its suffering. I want to meet people from North Korea and around the world that have a story to tell. I want to listen more than anything. I want to understand about North Korea in particular because it is so unavailable to the world. I hope people will share their stories with me. I look forward to meeting true friends.

About the penpal I'd like: I would like to talk to real people in North Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, the Congo, and so many other places in the world with tragedy and a story to tell. I am not particularly interest in talking to people in the US because it is where I live, but the rest remains open.
