About me: To clarify some moments, I am a young girl with Russian background (born and lived there for 11 years) who is currently living in Norway (more than 6 years already). Despite these facts, I do not classify myself as Russian nor Norwegian =) I have been learning German in school for 5 years (although not speaking fluently), and started learning French last year as well. The reason I am looking for penpals is simple - I want to improve any of the languages listed above (and of course, English) not through books, teachers and cramming, but through the use of more-or-less live language. Thus, I do not ask for advanced conversations about 17th century French literature (if that's not your favourite theme, of course), but rather free talking about... whatever you would like to know :) E-mails, instant messages, everything will do as long as you're up for a longer mail / message exchange :)
About the penpal I'd like: Basically anyone will do - I do not care about your age and gender and background, as long as you're more-or-less mature and adequate :) However, I am especially interested in people from such countries as France, Germany, Japan and Israel.
