About me:
I'm one of those people that other people like but
don't always remember. I'm very curious by nature.
I like learning about different cultures and
meeting new people, especially Japanese and
Chines. I think it might be from all the anime
I've suddenly become interested in. I've always
felt like I was stuck inside, and I'm always
looking outside. The world is so vast, I can't
imagine dying one day without having explored more
of it. I want to go beyond the walls that surround
me. I've had a great education, but I've learned
that education only gives you the path to walk on
and I don't want to walk, I want to fly. I love my
friends very much, and they're a great bunch, but
I'm still restless. I want to know about people
elsewhere. Maybe I'm greedy for not being
satisfied with what I have. I think too much, I
guess it comes from being overly observant. Its a
double-edged sword really. I talk a lot, sorry! :x |

Hi! I'm not very good at these types of things, but I'll give it a go.
My name is Katie, and I'm currently a freshman in college studying
creative writing. I'm nineteen years old. I absolutely love writing,
reading, and basically anything creative! I'm a really quiet person at
first but once you get to know me I can be very talkative, and a lot
of people tell me that I'm unique (but in a good way). Back at home
(when I'm not at college), I have a ferret named Charlie, and she's
the cutest! I love my english and creative writing classes, and this
semester I began taking French. It's fun learning a new language,
but also frustrating at times. I'm not very good at pronunciation at
all! Um, well, I can't think of anything interesting about me off the
top of my head, so I guess you'll just have to email me and find out!

I'd prefer a pen pal close to my age, so about 17-25 years old
would be fine. I'd also prefer someone who is from France or some
other french-speaking country/area, but I'm not very good at
writing French yet, so I'd also like someone who can write in
English. However, I just like learning about different cultures in
general, so all cultures are welcome! I'm especially interested in
Japan (although I don't know any Japanese). I like joking around so
someone with a good sense of humor would be great! :-) I'm also
