Hi, I'm an 19-year old (20 in September)
University student from Finland. I'm majoring in
Finnish language and my minor subjects are
literature, education and philosophy, next year

About the penpal I'd like:
I'm openminded what comes to penpals, but
hopefully you're somewhere around my age - let's
say that something between 18 and 25.
I'd prefer someone who speaks some of my weaker
languages Swedish, Spanish or even Estonian.
OR: if you already know some Finnish, I would
gladly help you improve your skills in it. I, how
ever, will not start teaching a whole new language
through e-mails - it would be too challenging to
both of us. I can correct mistakes in texts and
help to improve your writing skills as well as
give advice with grammar, but you need to know
some more Finnish than just "Hi". I am a Finnish
language major and will probably someday become a
Finnish teacher both as a mother tongue and as a
second/foreign language, so you don't have to
worry about getting false information from me! |
